Send Her My Love

One of Carter's "jobs" is to bring the trash can/recycling bin up from the curb back to the carport. It's a tough job - but somebody needs to do it.*

In other-oh-so-not exciting news... just 6 short weeks to go. Things are ordered, being shipped, and in various states of assemble.
For those of you who might be interested:
HERE IS our new carseat (do NOT get excited... we've chose the red version, not the pink)

HERE IS our new stroller (and when Rowdy gets a bit older, he will then graduate to THIS HERE stroller)

THIS IS the boring (but needed) changing station

and either
THIS or THIS will be the new diaper bag (a special thanks to my mom for deflecting a weird bag being given to me on our way to a hair appointment)

A couple of weeks ago - we drove up to Des Moines to shop a bit at Babies R Us (much to Carter's dismay - let me tell you! He's still going on and on about how we HAD to go to the baby store before we took him to the regular Toys store).

It was fun to pick out a few things here and there - let Carter find some new toys for Rowdy, get weird odds and ends, and look at all the stuff that I've learned babies don't *really* need to grow (but are super fun anyway).
*It's best if that somebody has some extra energy to spend, and doesn't really mind making the three trips (for the trash can, the lid, then the recycling bin) down our very short drive way and back again.
