From Their Blog to Mine

The SSD blog once again challenged me to find out what kind of coffee girl I truly am....

You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated
You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys
Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.
And your dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.
What Kind of Coffee Girl Are You?

After a few years together, and many - many - MANY coffee runs for my, I'm sure my husband would strongly disagree ;)
However, This Laid Back/Low Maintenance girl - this is who I am today. Probably not tomorrow, and definitely wasn't me yesterday - but for today, this is good.

Carter and Caddie were going CRAZY one afternoon - previous to the move. It was too funny NOT to catch on film!

So... I've been moving....

JB started his new job in Iowa, of all places, on December 18. This past month has been super busy with sorting, trashing, packing, moving, unpacking, more sorting, more throwing away and a few things were donated. Throw Christmas into the mix and it's chaos.

I haven't edited these pictures - so bear with me on the colors and quality. But how oddly cool is the front of this house? Sure - it's green and stained trim- but do you SEE all the trees around this place? I think it will be rockin' awesome come the warmer months. Then again - it could totally suck and we'll just have to ignore the color while we play in the big-ass yard (the house sits on a lot and a half - I'm sure when the weather gets above 35 you'll be blessed with many, many pictures of our back yard and just how spacious it is... well, spacious for town living).

Need a few boxes anyone? Cuz it seems that I have more than my share - just a few of the boxes tucked away behind our club chair in the living room.

And here is one more quick shot of the house - this is the family room. It was initially supposed to be the toy room - however the sofa wouldn't fit through the doorways to the living room.

Really - that's what sort of move this has been. If it can be even remotely challenging, it has been.
And now I am off to buy yet another vacuum - as the one we got to replace the one that (on the day after our move) started smoking just is a horrible piece of crapola. So much for only promising myself to buy the fun stuff that goes into moving!
